Ochranná známka VELUX je znak, který identifikuje naši firmu jako výrobce střešních oken a lemování VELUX a odkazuje na všechny vjemy s tím spojené, tj. naši značku. Odlišuje střešní okna a lemování VELUX od výrobků našich konkurentů a zaručuje zákazníkům, že koupili výrobky s vysokou kvalitou.
Naše ochranná známka VELUX byla vytvořena zakladatelem naší společnosti, Villum Kann Rasmussenem, tak, že zkombinoval VEntilaci a latinské slovo LUX, které znamená světlo, aby řekl světu, že střešní okna a lemování VELUX poskytují ventilaci a světlo.
Dnes je součástí vize VELUX přesvědčit všechny lidi, že ventilace a světlo jsou zdroji optimálního životního prostoru, a naše ochranná známka VELUX je jedno z našich nejcennějších vlastnictví při naplňování této vize.
Abychom ochránili toto cenné vlastnictví, je naše ochranná známka VELUX registrována na celém světě a my pečlivě sledujeme a okamžitě stíháme jakékoliv neoprávněné nebo jiné použití, které by mohlo snížit jeho hodnotu.

Ochrannou známku VELUX NIKDY nepoužívejte: - jako druhový termín pro střešní okna nebo lemování nebo jiné výrobky nebo služby
- způsobem, který by pozorovatele mohl vést k domněnce, že VELUX dal oprávnění nebo jinak schválil toto sdělení.
